People & places
Connecting with contributors to tell their story in a natural, original way.
I seek out fascinating people who reflect the coast and countryside.
I enjoy meeting a diverse mix of people with intriguing and often eco-conscious stories to tell, whether they’re crafting wooden surfboards or forging beautiful belts from shipwrecked metal. Whatever the news hook, storytelling is always key to revealing what’s going on behind-the-scenes. With more than 18 years experience in a cross-section of media, including television production, radio, online and print journalism, my people-finding skills are second-to-none and my factual research is always accurate and robust.
I regularly review hotels for The Daily Telegraph and I’ve written a guidebook about North Devon – more excuses to explore and uncover new ideas.
